Home of the 'Crocodile Hunter', the late Steve Irwin's zoo is a must-see for all visitors to Brisbane. Since 1991 Australia Zoo under the Irwin's guidance has flourished and is a roaring success. The expansion of the award-winning Australia Zoo is testament to the  drive and dedication of its owners, the Crocodile Hunter’s Steve and Terri Irwin, and their team.

Australia Zoo, located at Beerwah on the Sunshine Coast, won the 2002 and 2003 Queensland Tourism Award and also the 2003-2004 Australian Tourism Award for Major Tourist Attraction.

Australia's most dangerous predators the Saltwater Crocs are one of many Australian animals that can be found at Australia Zoo. There are extensive programs and feeding sessions for all animals at the zoo which provides visitors with a number of photo opportunities to see these magnificent animals in action. The zoo is open daily.
